One Valentines day Cupid went on strike because well ... he didn't like 
the dating games on T V showing fake people trying to hitch up and all 
They were gold diggers he said, first they say love me, then take a hike
he didn't think their hearts were true, they were always having a brawl 
He packed his gold tipped arrows and moved out of his Love Chalet 
up the mountain he went to meditate, he met a man named Tate 
who asked him, "can you spare me an arrow, I'm in love with Kate" 
Kate and Tate got married but soon their love turned to hate 
Thinking he had lost his touch he shot clandestine arrows how sad 
people kissy faced & moonied, so he thought maybe I'm not so bad 
He got hired on T V  as a host for a bran new dating show 
gold tipped arrows and trusty quivers, he turned them all aglow 
Cupid God Of Love shooting arrows once again,  love was in the air  
opulence of heart & soul came first this time,  love was everywhere  
Valentine Smoochies, hoochie-coochies, snoggies and kisses oh dear,   
Cupid was back and love was on track, for anyone who ever came near.
