Poem

the onlookers did not climb the wall.
in the three towers the oboes silenced.
the dark house has a woman who closes the curtain.
the boy cried ancient.
the lamps went out too much.

the sun was silent.
the wind has given up.
nothing installed at all.

only a drunk regretted the day
when someone's hand said goodbye.
the place is called solitude.
is the anguish in the air.
people walk silently in the streets.
buy poisons at the same place
then they drag themselves into themselves.

the old man who once charmed because he sang
now growls at dogs that growl at old men.
"we here have no way to get joy"
he says.
"we here don't have the will"
he says.
"we here are like you there"
he says, before walking away darkened.
