I sit in the dark alone
My tear soaked face lit only by the computer
I cry into my bed
I wish I could sleep
Cause some dreams are what I need
Every fight goes too far
It makes me wonder
Did you ever love me
You call me degrading things
You never take them back
You don't involve yourself in my life
I cry and I try to remember the last time
When was the last time you said you loved me
You never actually said it
Just wrote it on a celebratory card
It breaks me down and tears me apart
Where the hell is your heart
What happened
What did I do
You never have a good thing to say
Another day, another fight
You tear me to pieces
And you walk away cause the fight ended your way
Feeling heroic that you ruined the day
Never saying sorry cause you mean every word you say
But nobody else sees how we're falling apart
Words can't say the damage you inflict 
And nothing can explain the things you do
Hours pass and nothing changes
But we sit down at breakfast like nothing did
Pretending cause we'll never agree
But the fight will be back again
The same hurtful attack repeats
An emotional beat
Just don't know when
Except it will be back again
