January 13 Scripture Meditations Based on Genesis 42-45

Key Verse – Genesis 42:6 And Joseph was the governor over the land…

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BEING MY LIFE-GOVERNOR

Thank You for being my life-Governor I must praise
While I bow down before You upon Your leadership’s brace
Sincerely seeking You and Your grace
In my pursuit to please You along life’s race.

Thank You for being my life-Governor I must esteem
While I radiate in Your light’s holy gleam
Sincerely beseeching You and Your approval’s beam
In my desire to glorify You through the way You deem.

Thank You for being my life-Governor I must follow
While I submit to Your leadership along Your loving glow
Sincerely obeying You and Your commands as my pride I swallow
In my goal to prioritize You midst sorrow and failures’ blow.

Thank You for being my life-Governor I must honour
While I lay myself at Your altar of sacrifice having You as my gift donor
Sincerely acknowledging You and Your power’s might of sovereign tenor
In my aim to choose You foremost among conditions or preferences of or and nor.

Thank You for being my life-Governor I must respect
While I surrender to Your rulership in every aspect
Sincerely lifting You and Your name whenever I worshipfully introspect
In my resolution to magnify You in my stewardship of biblical circumspect.

Thank You for being my life-Governor I must serve
While I offer my all to Your mercy-throne without any reserve
Sincerely giving all to You and Your ministry where my life You preserve
In my willingness to labour for You with my utmost which You deserve.
