"Ghostlike"



Through dreams
I visit you ghostlike
in disguised ways I speak 
silent thoughts to you
I breathe them lifelike
into your dreamlike
skies 

alive you have travelled
astral in my mind
I hold you in 
my hands 
your heart fluttering
like a lost nightingale sings
you dance with bigger things
the known unknown
you are not alone

when true bright morning star arrives
I watch you resurrect little by little
dark night by dark night 
when you hide the pain
through broken things
lost through your smile
tears of a child
I always wipe away
through your hidden delta waves

you have seen me 
in your own way
invisible faith trusts 
those who read books
buried behind others 
lying cast aside
covered in dust
a story forgotten 
watches you, it reads you
reaches into your mind

You have seen me
in your own way 
invisible faith trusts
those on light missions
considered ridiculous
crossing star crossed lovers
strange humans, some poets
turning words like water into 
real romance
slowly in their wake
let them cast aspersions
you pull Excalibur from stone

over naked you see me now
walking through all your poems 
through the songs 
in your heart now altered 
offering sacrament
belief exposed
bathed in love 
for what in truth loss is,
reality in me, 
The Word -
hidden, in you
eventually arrives

I walk with you 
alive in your dreams 
I hold your shattered heart
in mine
I watch you open
your eyes 
they are now reflecting mine

you have not got away from me 
there is no door closed
opening now all windows
ever closer to you I move
my Life over you, 
invited to the wedding,
it comes in
over all, now see 
the bad times gone
sadness dies 
I breathe you in

you feel it in 
the heat of my breeze
I am the Sun 
true bright morning star
kissing eyes open
wide and far 
in the electric blue 
piercing dreams alive
riding on clouds
with my consort
royal legions of angels 

my tears, 
I swallowed silent
in sacrifice 
now reign over you
I am 
the Water of Life -
drink me in, satiate
I’ll soon see you again
when outside of your dreams 
I arrive, 
you awake
