Poem
FATHER- I decided to explain what my father poem means line by line. 1. Father, how do I live when there is so much to give. God is my Father; I am praying to my Father. I am asking how I continue to live in such a world, when it asks me to do so much? It requires so much of me to survive just today. I must earn money to eat and have a place that won’t rain on me. I need love all the time just to stay straight up every minute of my life. This life is asking for so much from me Father! 2. If I take away a grain, I leave a little pain. As I continue praying to my Father. I say Father if I cause to move the position of something as small as a grain of sand, this causes me to feel some pain. I moved a part of life I should not have moved. This is painful to me that I may have tilted my own balance and I’m no longer walking straight up. Something as simple to me as eating a grape at the grocery store to test its sweetness. Oh, what pain I have done to cause me to tilt? 3. If I try to save a fly, there is something else to die Father, a fly is so small and so bothersome to me that instead of wanting to squash it, I catch it and set the fly free from my house. I turn another direction and may have killed a few ants after I accidently stepped on their tiny hill. I really didn’t mean to do it. I just wasn’t looking down that time. More pain! 4. I may hunger for more and then I close my door Father, I know the things I need to live my life, and I love it when you give me more than I ask for. The hunger I long for is your continued love for me and the unexpected giving of you and I even thirst for that love from you every day. I know what I have but it stays with me because I have no one that I can share my love from you to that person. I want to share my love of you so much to others, but no one will listen, and I can’t share love of me or you to them. My love stays with me, and I must always close the door to others. 5. I really don’t know what to say, when I do, I walk away Father I pray for your words to be spoken through me because I know by myself, I may not know the correct way of speaking to other’s to fully understand you are with me. It’s little words that I think are not harmful, but to some I may be repositioning their grain of sand. I speak hoping Father my words are your words and when I cause a spark, I just walk away because I caused a slight bit of pain. To be continued... TTGIL 12/25/21
