Australia was zerocovid,
with quarantine and tracing set up too.
That kept the virus at bay.
But too many people were coming into the country,
It was only a matter of time before the virus broke away,
from HQ into the community. 

Scott Morrison wanted to open the borders anyway.
He done most of the damage.
He wanted to dish out orders again.
So he gently pushed Gladys Berejiklian,
To let the virus out into the community
And go for some sort of vaccine herd immunity.

He tricked all the Premiers too
"Use your powers to mandate"
feel that power, feel that energy 
Well, Daniel Andrew jumped straight into the lake
He made a bloody big mistake
Then he tries to mandate

From which it can never recover
There is no turning back the clock
