"It is better for a man to be married than it is to burn (with lustful desires)!' God is addressing both Christ centered and secular centered marriages. The same thing is also true for the woman as well. A Christ centered man and woman will allow Jesus Christ to choose their spouses and are not to be unnervingly yoked with non believers! What if two people enter into a marriage as unbelievers? And either the wife or husband become saved afterwards? "If the unbelieving spouse chooses to depart let him (or her) depart. And the believing spouse or the unbelieving spouse is not bound by their marriage contract! But God would rather have the believing spouse set a Godly example for their unbelieving spouse. Demonstrating the redemptive power of Jesus Christ in their lives. So the unbelieving spouse maybe saved! Christ is the both the leader and the head of the church because He established it while He was on the face of the earth. Christ is also the leader and the head of the family likewise. A Godly man is worthy to be the head of his household. He is the spiritual leader, protector and the provider of his family. The final decisions that he makes will affect his family the rest of their natural lives. He is to love his family as Christ loved the church and sacrifice himself for her! The wife is to obey and to be obedient to her husband and to submit herself to him! Does that include unwise decisions that can destroy their family? She is to obey God rather than man (her husband) It is a foolish husband who fails to consult his Godly wife in making decisions! It is a foolish wife who fails to consult her Godly husband in making decisions also! "And the fool has said in his (or her) heart that there is no God." "Train up a child in the way that he (or she) should go and when he (or she) is old he (or she) shall not depart from it." "Children learn what they live!" Both parents are to present a united front in the rearing of their Godly offspring!"Fathers are not to provoke their children! But children are not only to obey their parents, but also to honor their father and their mothers. In order for them to have long lives upon the face of the earth! Make certain you are parents worthy of obedience and honor! Children obey and honor your parents as you also obey your Lord God Jesus Christ! Parents love and cherish your children as Christ cherishes the church and gave up His life for her. May God bless all of you! Roxanne Lea Dubarry November 23, 2021
