Mama don't.... I saw her bitterly crying Covered in pain of losing her The little boy watching from a distance Guilt could not spare her motherly nature Played a part in it all Now she was gone forever Came home tired and broken She could not take it anymore Holding the jovial little boy in her hand Saw her mama and tears rolled down Regretted the day she felt in love Welcomed home with both arms Cried her heart out Narrated the ordeal Gave her a shoulder to lean on Within no time things turned sour Did all manual jobs for survival So the boy could feel comfortable Time went by Felt she had embarrassed her in the village Wanted her to stay home not seen around Sadness filled her whole being Almost giving up but the boy kept her going Where she called home No longer at ease The church-going mama had turned on her She had hit a dead end Unlucky it was but luckily it looked The monster came home begging She had seen it all she knew it was an act Mama felt like her prayers were answered Finally it seemed time to settle it all Bribed her with cash not worth her Welcomed the son-in-law as her own Could not wait any longer to let them go The shame was taken away He said he was sorry She had given up on it But mama could not hear any of it Objection was over-ruled "Dear you got to be patient with him" Mama advised Made it clear she got to leave and go back Had started picking up the pieces Now back to that trail of sleepless nights The monster had bribed and won Mama had given her away Like a snack from the oven Hugged them goodbye Week later he stabbed her Deep inside on the bleeding heart He put a signature on her body Ended her dreams in one shot Making his son motherless instantly The boy got round beautiful eyes like her's How will she tell it to the grown man How her mama diminished How she had hand in it If she doesn't the world would Or his papa in prison would confess. #EveAdamz
