Mitchell: At this level, as with the rest, one might also find those who have stumbled down from a higher step on the crystal staircase from dancing too many tangos in their Manolo Blahniks, as it were.

Steve: Your system bears the hallmarks of considered judgment and calculated precision, yet retains a vestige of the poetic; the numbers do seem to be adding up. Soldier on.

Mitchell: I always strive to do a creditable job.

John: My credit is good and I aim to see that it stays that way; even if my debt ceiling needs to be raised a few floors to accommodate my new found need for increased headroom.

Steve: if you want to discuss economics, the answer to our current crisis is jobs, pure and simple; jobs that pay a living wage at reasonable hours, along with affordable childcare and comprehensive health benefits including paid parental leave during a child’s first eighteen months. If the private sector can’t create the jobs needed to bring about a sustainable economic recovery, it’s up to the government to step in as an emergency measure. We also need adherence to sound fiscal policy to avoid perilous bubbles from brewing up for the benefit of corrupt and manipulative insiders, an end to tax loopholes for the wealthy, and a return to government regulation of, and scrutiny over the transactions of financial institutions. Fair and effective campaign finance reform and a reduction in wasteful defense spending are also keys to establishing a stable economic future. However, as a corporate accountant, I am vehemently opposed to all these measures as they would prove inimical to my own fiduciary interests as well as those of my clients, who are men to be respected. Besides, capitalism that isn’t laissez faire is fundamentally un-American and the best government is that which allows commerce to flourish unimpeded by any taint of socialist inclinations.

John: Any socialism that isn’t National Socialism isn’t to be trusted.

Mitchell: Welcome to the fold. Shall I go on? A Class B shego would, as logic warrants, include all those who were previously rated higher and have fallen just far enough to maintain this rank, as well as those who possess merely average traits, but have made no great effort to either improve upon, or degrade their physical appearance. A typical Class B shego is typically demoted by her thirties to a lower level if she isn’t diligent.

Steve: A prime example of Social Darwinism at work in the wild.

John: Survival of the fittest; as laissez faire as it gets.

Mitchell: Precisely. Among lower order creatures we have the Class A shedoo. That’s as in she will do in a pinch when there’s no one else to amuse your time. She will be just attractive and young enough that you would make certain exertions in order to do her, such as take her to dinner or to a show, for a very limited number of times; usually no more than three, after which, she would be designated a Class B shedo.

John: A good mid-range model.
