Poem
somber thoughts in disarray broken moments of a jaded day under siege of firing brigades the bed you lay in is the bed you made tattered talons from battles fought a mind full of colorful forgetmenots fragmented pieces of what was bought not the treasure chest that at first was sought valuable yet costly lessons seared into a lonesome heart add a pinch of desolation from the start a dash of isolation throw it in the pot a recipe on the way to blowing everything apart a warrior built to endure staggering pain the mind bent a tad insane a battle lurks as peace is slain the cry goes out through torrent rain footing gained but taking back the petty ways they think and act a time to fight we reenact while riding on the edge of a battle axe a shot cheaply taken sinks deep within the assailants eye caught within the wind no hands flew out no backs did bend although surrounded by those things called friends not nearly a moment not even a breath a wail pierces the night the wail of death screaming to the engorged sky "there's nothing left" "you unraveled as you planned your theft" you took the land and charged its ransom you took the freedom held now for ransom you sucked away souls at random a two headed snake, the devils phantom the warrior heaves its stature to a full stand the puffed up chest the beefy hand with the voice of the god you hear the command the waters echo and mountains shook across the land battle weary so close to death the warrior spent his energy on one last breath so it was commanded to be heard by even the deaf against the walls slamming into the chests "No matter what," came forcefully attacking from the skies the deaf felt the words as the blind saw with hooded eyes the heart within the boisterous cry was strong enough to make binds untie As this one last blow was fated to come across with might silence reigned in that moment on that night the last breath before up came the light the world witnessed the mightiest fight for this warrior wasnt of flesh and blood this warrior was the heart and how you loved the silence ended as the world crumbled to only knees the battle was all God's deed for within this warrior this piece of a creation was found with unabashed appreciation a secret to end wars famine and all the devastation within the words within the heart came the realization Throughout time throughout continents throughout pain throughout discontentment throughout isolation throughout confinement one thing remained true.. love is the greatest you need only to find it As the new day began the earth was urged one last time before the purge evil hate and uncompassionate souls were lifted as they immerged the thunder clashed and the lightening surged evil was defeated by compassion that stood apart with the ability to risk the greatest work of art even when you stand alone or in part the battle is won through the beats of a heart.. Faith Hope and love.. but of all these things the greatest is love..
