The sky is a soft blue and the sea gulls white and dirty gray are flying up over the shops and cafes screezing at the humans and the crows
Eyes alert open for dropped chips and chicken/ham bits — dropped
by careless vacation walkers on the trails along the West and East
side of the Bay, 

That cold bay and damp gray fog where surfers dressed 
warm dark wet suits designed for military divers and now
used for surfers to control the cold for vacationers and award winners alike as they sit on the waters and wait for the perfect undefinable wave 

A wave designed by nature to meet their desire to fly on the
earth in a form of wet wings   Don’t think that the warm clear waters of the Keys are found here if you wish to lie on those warm waters in the sun, the Bay is cold the waves unforgiving momentarily quiet and then the violent white blue waters clash into the rocks

The Bay waters are made for the strong seals and dolphins, the otters stay in the sea weeds coves and the sharks and the soldiers and men and women who dance with them to show their strength and share the wonders of the deadly waters and to dare in their own way playing in  moments of life and  moments of death as the white foams spray and the waves expand  rise up there in a moment of triumph carrying the seals and surfers in the living waters and in the clean salty air spray
