at the speed of light
on a carousel of death
souls escape the flesh

Into an immersion filled with the love of loved ones
an the miracles of creator's creations..
all jagged questions smoothed to gilded responses
all barbs of confusion transforms into flowers of truth...
Upon the translucent soul palette of
God...unscented purity...
souls are gifted wings
becoming Angelic beings 

Wants and needs of flesh
give way to the divine purpose of angels
{the purpose of the givers}
Guiding those left behind
in the cachexic rapids of life
coaxing them from burning cages of flesh
lifting them from the pit fires of greif
helping them clip temptation and sin
revealing miracles very delicately
dappling sunlight on patches of blackness
pruning selfish prayers-destructive thought patterns
a gentle tug toward the righteous path
a birdsong on the edge of conscious
lightly minted hints of the afterlife
beacons in a cold handed night
a slight warmth on the cheek
shooting stars in the muck of doubt..
joining the sqeaks of a newborn
to the clack of premonition...
promote love uncensored
reveal that goodness is 
forever connected
one umbilical cord
life and death 
spun from the same 
star dusted breath...
One life of the flesh
one life of the spirit
in between a doorway of death
never meant to be dreaded
it is but a foyer of transition.
