I have heard some things in class today
I pray I make more progress and struggle less
Praying for peace and quiet someday
I want a clear mind from regret and distress

Cold-hearted lies 
Won’t open its eyes to the truth…no, not anymore
But, we are truly happy all the more
Ruthless goodbyes
Don’t know how to say hello to happiness in store
But, we say hello to gladness galore

Restore to us our restoration and tranquility
Give us a wise mind of wondrous, radiant reality
Acknowledge humility in our lives of busy highways
Knowledge of what lies ahead will give us brighter days

I am no angel, but I am God’s child of light
I am no devil, but I am one with His might
I am trying to get rid of injustice in our lives…it stabs us like a thousand knives
Waiting until brilliant happiness and jubilance at heart, soul and spirit arrives

The path of healing is near…
So, fear no more, my dear
Cheer will be passed ear to ear
We war for peace to be our gear
The path of healing is near…
God is here, so have no fear
Cheer will be passed year by year
We war for peace to be our cure to wipe away every tear 
From your eyes…
That tell no lies…
God hears our cries…
Our faith never dries…

The path of healing will overwhelm us with joy and peace evermore
The path of healing will make us whole again and make us soar
The wrath of God will not be upon us anymore…passion will pour
Abort desolation and anguish in our lives of chaotic remorse to the core

Praying for peace and quiet
Clear your mind from regret
My wise mind is working tremendously and I have no second thought regret

My emotional mind is working oh so traumatically in my own little mindset

Praying for peaceful faithfulness to not upset
Us during our times of mere tribulation on onset

I’m sorry for all the sinning I’ve done, oh Lord
I couldn’t help but pray for your ongoing accord
Please set us free from burning bondage that hold me us in rusty old chains
Give us the brains to have a wise mind instead of merely an emotional one or a logical one along with its lows and pains

I overcomplicate things…
Give me simplicity wings
I need Your tranquil hope to raise me up before my anger erupts
I’m tired and sick of being oh so corrupt and being in the dumps

Put to the grave these disgraceful thoughts in vain
Put to shame these notions of undevotional gain
With your mental gun in hand, pull the trigger to shoot at the triggers that dare to break me as a whole
With your emotional breakdowns, I feel like a prideful fool that has fallen from grace upon my saturated soul

God provides peaceable prosperity
He gives us gracious glory and heals the afflicted who are left behind
Our Father is at one with pure liberty
What about you? What about me? Are we at one with His wise mind?

If I had a wise mind like You, if you only knew what I have been through…
I would be this successful being who is of a fervent perfection 
He spiritually crowned me in fearlessness so true…feels as if He hasn’t a clue…
But I won’t lose faith and I won’t rely on self-pity…there’s a far greater purpose beyond rejection

The path of healing
Will give us true Direction…
It’s beyond a feeling
That is intellectual with affection

Undo the burdens and stress we have amongst ourselves 
Triumphant humility will allow His spirit to fight our battles
Keep yourselves away from deceiving lies that spread like cancer so impure
Wickedness will vanish with its avarice ways and its deceitful pulls 
We will be working hard and effortlessly like ardent elves
Reap what you sow and remain readily prepared to embrace His cure

Train for strong endurance
Refrain from dreadful and cruel discouragement
Reign upon us deliverance
Gain the armor of holy and healing endearment

The wise mind will unwind…time could be cruel or so kind
As long as we don’t look behind us
The emotional and logical mind, alone, will make us blind
We are on the same bumpy, rowdy bus

God’s timing is always very kind
God’s Word is always a great find
However, we have the responsibility
To gain the wise mind to find the path of healing to put to shame the apprehension from our hearts of shameless serenity

Focus on being vigilant for what lies ahead
Do shed off the skin of such sinfulness dread
Do us a favor and tread the path of healing today
I want the clear, wise mind to erase the sorrows of yesterday
Tempted to do wrong,
 But all along, I belong
With everyone who believes in soul, spirit and heart
The wise mind can relieve us from grief that weaves in us restoration from the start
