The Devil’s in the raging tempest. 
The Devil’s in the quaking earth.
Might be tornados today, 
Good bet there’s worse on the way.
Just take the hint for what it’s worth.
Can’t tell you why the climate’s changing. 
Just know it makes the death toll swell. 
Though it’s absurdly odd to say an act of God;
More like a typical day in hell.

The Devil’s in the sale of weapons. 
The Devil’s in the toxic waste.
In every corporate whore, 
And scum bag merchant of war 
Who prey upon the human race. 
Predictions of the next fiasco 
Are all too easy to foretell. 
You see it on TV; it’s called reality, 
And it’s a typical day in hell.

The Devil’s in the sighs and whispers. 
The Devil’s in the blood red thong.
She looked as tempting as sin, 
And like a fool I gave in, 
Persuaded by her Siren song. 
I knew I flirted with disaster; 
The warning was a wedding bell.
But I embraced the flame when she took my last name.
It was a typical day in hell.
