Poem
The rainbow has 7 colors set in an order. From the very top to the bottom of the arc; Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. Such are the colors we see in every rainbow.* When our skin is pierced, we all bleed. And the blood of every mortal is Red, No matter which way you cut us. Our Father designed it that way. Blue States are Democratic, they say. They say, Red States are Republican Both Red and Blue are rapped in stars and stripes; Red, White, and Blue, colors of the United States flag. Purple Irises adorn my front yard. They seem restless, departing rapidly. Green is the color my lawn used to be. Brown is the present color of my lawn. It is Brown from the lack of ample water. Gold is both name and color of a precious metal. The planet earth is mostly Brown and Green. Pink paints the portrait of beauty for the rose. Some of earth's hills and dusty grounds are Red. The moon is sometimes clear and bright. If there's a Luna eclipse or other factors, it will be Red. The leaves of the trees are Green, Golden, and Brown. When trees are striped of leaves in Fall, they are Brown. Brown is not only a color but also is the 4th most popular surname in the USA, 4th in Australia, and 5th in England. Orange is also the color and name of a nutritious fruit. The snow is White, and the hail and rain are clear like glass. The colors of flowers are Yellow, White, Purple, Pink, and Red. There are also Crape Myrtle trees baring colors of Pink and White. The skies are Blue and the clouds are most often White, but when the weather systems alter the playing fields, they may turn dark Gray and Black. Did you know? 38% of cars manufactured globally are painted White; 19% are Black; 13% are gray; and silver is at 10%**. Blue is also the color of a depressing and anxiety-filled person. The waters are clear at times and sometimes Blue. Our eyes are Blue, Brown, Black, Grey. ... And did you know? The real you is the best you. The real you is most beautiful, 'spirit' and 'colorless'. 081921PSCtest, Kaleidoscope Poetry Contest, Chantelle Anne Cooke *https://blog.prepscholar.com/rainbow-color-order **Based on an authoritative annual survey of car color trends, white is the clear global winner in the 2019 color race—for the ninth consecutive year—prettysweet.com/best-worst-car-color-resale-value/
