"The Calming of Her Storm" My mother gave me solace I fell into her deep hollows to kiss the wisdom of her breath chanting quietly I still hear her nightingale birdsong caressing the soft fluttering of her tireless dreams for me white dove hymns spreading over the noir pureness of mine in the glowing embers of auras we still remain entwined Back then, I bathed in the crossfire of her sadness, joy, love, I was like her through the smallness of me I too reigned over her I was some sage green She was my ocean and my world Some not fully known territory I was fully caught up in the jungle nets of her mysterious history unconquered I remained her steadfast nation the highest apple in her tree, she reminded me of something in another life long ago I had seen some beautiful wise enchantress blue de Pizan for a delphinium dauphine wisdom feathers and weeping willows soft pearls falling in the sad time of unrest the dark nights I cooed into her emerald pools watching the ripples seeing my reflection two sides left and right in the windows of time moon and sun glistening love mine orbiting her ruling planets traversed her eclipse smiling innocently in my naivety they were closing in slowly drowsy drugged by the absinthe in her sweetly profound je revien truth never lies nor does it sleep hypnotic melodies transferred to me I transitioned through her golden kintsugi mind to mine she filled me up I drank her in "we are never empty vessels" she continued to sing I still hear her whispering this to me when I sleep now she visits me in my dreams I am her ghost from her mother's dreams Back in the small time I watched the words spill forth riding along the unfurling pink velvet mesmerizingly exquisite under mosquito net the other mother she said, said, “listen to me breathe,” I cross-referencing categorized memories from her mother to mine their memories are now mine to understand and eventually find I juggle their weight elephantine from the jungles that remain within me of that magic time she speaks some exotic language from an open cave beckoning labyrinthine somewhere there deep within waits for me a precious jewel laid on eternal alter its ruby redness ready to be peeled like a juicy pomegranate secrets of a life revealed my heart beats like a savage drum slow marching the wilderness of lost days that move languorous in the quickening the dissipation of her and I, and I am at the bottom of her well staring upwards to twin stars twinkling under dark fringed canopy I am small compared to her my fingers trail stories yet unknown along the skin of her neck like braille I am within still that child I feel new legends inside me blooming like small fresh petals slowly opening and falling she always holds me in the dreams she is walking my skin drinks her in mothers milk the elixir Épître au Dieu d'Amour I smile against her rhythmic vibrations where the pulse of life is kept like a caged bird then at the kindness of her mercy freed from within the hidden bed of her heart violet white breathes some god given rite new life and memories stored within me they arrive heralded through the chakra canal delivered from the place where her soul once breathed its warm breath over me the mystery of me and she the world remains inside me I remember her she constantly changes she is four seasons reigning I inherited her indigo I am wobbly wisdom I am all her points of a broken compass pointing the way through inherited electric lightening I rage then I remember I am the calming of her storm over me she smiles, she despairs, she adores the sun shines from her clouded eyes windows where the inner turmoil waives forgiving past grievances her tears command me for I am her storm and the blood in my veins is hers no walking away from that she is inside me always I am her mirror the child leaving dreams of home too soon walking away the slamming of doors Upon waking in this new world Time moves so fast she gently shakes me I am her reality I was raised to great heights upon her undulating hips while the memory of her in another dimension slips away she passes all too quickly the sceptre to me (LadyLabyrinth / 2021) gvlm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_de_Pizan https://www.chakra-anatomy.com/third-eye-chakra-colors.html Sonnet III The 7 Essene Mirrors (1) https://ericehrke.com/the-seven-essene-mirrors-of-relationship/ (2) http://www.ignaciodarnaude.com/espiritualismo/Braden,Awakening%20the%20Power%20of%20a%20Modern%20God.pdf Cherish Armour https://www.poetrysoup.com/poem/cherish_armour_1019783
