Message To God by Owami Hlongwane 

Father, for i have found hope. Hope that someday I will be fine. I have found love, love that I hope someday will grow to be enough,
Enough for me to get myself back up again. 
I've been searching, searching for something that i dont even know, blamed myself for not getting what I'm searching for without realizing I too, i dont know what I'm looking for. 

I have been stranded
Lost in the dark, searching for a way out
Felt as if my soul was slowly leaving my body,
Felt like I'm being thrown in a never ending abyss,
Days started to be short, nights started to be longer,
I could hear my mind when I'm thinking
I could feel the heartache deeper than anything
I could feel how lonely I am even when I'm surrounded by people
Lord, you know what I've been feeling.

Today i went for a new search, though I didn't know what I was searching for
But I found a better path
I gave myself another chance, a chance to start over,
A chance to do better this time
For I have messed up the previous one,
Today I felt something in my chest,
A feeling that cannot be compared to the rest

My soul have been set free
The chains have been loosen up
I'm now at peace 
I'm now making peace, peace with the fact that we all make mistakes and we learn from them
For I have learnt from this one
For I will not mess this one
As I have learnt a lesson
For I have felt the pain, the coldness and the loneliness

I have found hope, hope that someday I will be fine.
