"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed; for I am 
your God. I will strengthen
you, surely I will help you,
surely I will uphold you
with My righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10


"Why should we worry or be afraid?

"I have told you these things, so that
in me you may have peace. In this
world you will have trouble. But take
heart! I have overcome the world."
John 16:31

This is what we should do whenever
we are afraid! 

"But when (we are) afraid, (we) will put
our) trust in you. I will praise God for
what he has promised. (we )will trust
in God. so why should (we) be afraid?
What can mere mortals do to (us)?
Psalm 56:3-4


Why should we trust in the Lord?

"Trust in the Lord with all your 
heart and lean not unto your
own understanding; in all of your
ways submit to him, and he will
make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6

God is greater than the
spirit existing in this world.

"But you belong to God dear
children. You have already
won a victory over these
people, because the Spirit who
lives in you is greater than the
spirit that lives in the world."
1 John 4:4

In essence 1 John 4:4 is true
because.

"Greater is he who lives in (us)
than he that is the world."

Who is the spirit that lives within
the world?

None other than the ruler who
rules over the power and the
principalities in high places! Who
is Satan himself!

"For we wrestle not against flesh
and blood, but against principalities,
against the rulers of darkness of
this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places."
Ephesians 6:12

Why should we believe the Lord?

"I can do all things through
Christ, who strengthens (us)."
Philippians 4:13

Why should we rely upon the
Lord?

"But they that wait upon the LORD
shall renew their strength; they
shall mount up with wings as
eagles; they shall run and not be
weary, they shall walk and not
faint." Isiah 40:31

It is much better to rely upon the
Lord instead of counting on and
therefore relying upon ourselves!
And all of the above reasons listed,
are why we trust in, God instead of
fallible mere men and women! 

Satan is indeed the spirit ruling
and reigning over the world today!
But greater is the spirit, Jesus
Christ, who lives in us than
Satan! Therefore we are
neither to fear nor to be
dismayed!

Those who of us we trust in our
Lord will be both upheld by Him
and be always blessed by Him!
