Poem
growth in itself has the ability to effect change to move to the next level to have our priorities rearranged President-elect Obama based his entire campaign on the premise that America was ready for a change change is usually not welcomed as it moves you out of your comfort zone as change usually calls for us to acquiesce, repent and/ or atone yet a lot of our money is spent on medical and health care to treat those behavioral conditions of which we are fully aware we smoke too much, we eat too much and we exercise too little thus the cause of most of our illnesses is certainly not a riddle we need for our lifestyles to be rearranged so I ask you America can we spare some change? we hate change, we love change but mostly we want things to get better yet we're reluctant to follow the doctor's instructions to the letter most every aspect of our lives would be greatly improved if we just get up off our butts and make a positive move we've been stuck in our ruts for several generations suffering from a self indulgence that has us on medication yet all we have to do is just change our way of thinking and get up off the sick bed that is surely sinking to be like Zacchaeus who despite his personal wealth had a desire to spare some change on his spiritual health for money alone doesn't guarantee joy nor happiness if you're living a life short of God's grace and righteousness to be dead in the Spirit, to be unmoved by life you need to spare some change and seek out Jesus the Christ we all have a desire that's deep in our hearts to feel the presence in our souls of the Lord Our God to climb up a sycamore just to be able to see Jesus the Messiah who gave His life for you and me the crowd of onlookers thought this was strange but Zacchaeus had a desire to spare some change don't let the critics in life stand in your way of you seeking to make a change one day let persistence and perseverance be the vehicle that will turn your problem into a miracle take your weaknesses and shortcomings and let them be estranged and do what is needed in order to spare some change Jesus looked up and called Zacchaeus with no hesitation and said "let's go to your home" for at hand is your salvation to be moved by the Spirit with a desire to change your behavior to be healthy and now happy in the presence of the Savior to want every aspect of your life to be rearranged to be like Zacchaeus who was willing to spare some change
