In this world there lived a boy
who was unhappy and found no joy
He felt there was no life for him
without someone to love
His life was too routine and dull
So he asked for help from high above
From out of heaven came a girl
In answer to his plea
She was an Angel sweet and kind
Especially meant for this boy to see
He saw this girl one day and said
That nevermore life would be dread
For his heart felt love at last
And his yearning was in the past
This girl fell in love at once with the boy
And their hearts were so full of joy
That they agreed they should be wed
Hand in hand forever they would tread
But even though life for them was set
As for everyone in love you see,
They hurt each other quite a bit
But their hearts would agree
That their love would last forever
And just being human would never
Take their love away from them.
By now JoAnn my Angel from heaven
Who I love with all my heart
You know I’m talking about our love
And nothing can keep us apart
You are that girl so beautiful and kind
And in this world no one can find
An Angel as wonderful as you
Who gives her love to me so true
I love you my darling and I will try
To correct my selfish ways
So from now on there will be no reason why
For you to feel so bad for days
Please understand my plea my darling
For you mean so much to me
You’re always in my heart my darling
I want so much for you to see
That if ever something would take us apart 
It surely would break my heart
And I would really have no life
Without having you to be my wife!
