Poem
For hours, I lie awake in my lonely bed And even though I want sleep to so desperately come, thoughts of you cloud my head I let go of you before, but now I can no longer pretend These feelings and overwhelming emotions are not going to soon end But you have to do what you feel you must for your own peace of mind And I'm the one here still waiting on the side lines While passing right on by me is nothing but sweet time I know that I need to see you again, but sometimes on that decision to face you, I find myself lost But you need to know if I did travel to see you, I would never step over any lines or boundaries you didn't want crossed Because losing you from my life in any way, for me, is just way to high of a cost I always dream about you holding me once more And me kissing you so tender as we did before Laying the other down surcoming to those pleasures of love while our hearts soar Your soft yet commanding touch That sexy but domineering voice I long to hear so much But between you and me it's always been so much more than making love and such It's the deep inner connection we both so strongly feel That knowing that the emotions coursing through our veins is so intensely real And together our hearts can finally heal You're so deep inside my soul Over your memory and our moments I have no kind of control I know with each other, we both could be happy again and finally whole We both have taken and given far too many rides on endless troubled shores However we now have the chance to finally stop our own personal wars Let me in and open again your sincerity that is found behind that closed hearts door I'm here the one for you I'm the only who very rarely made you blue To each other our hearts and souls were always true I'm still holding in my hands your hearts key You still hold one in your hands to, the one for me I hope, dream, pray, and wish on every star that someday soon we can together see Those horizons we, on our own, have expanded and explored Only then to find our way back again to love each other more But I will keep waiting here for you with my heart broken and my soul tore
