Poem
One hundred people saving ten dollars per week a thousand dollars per week fifty-two thousand dollars per year the deposit for a house every year a road to wealth and growth that is my idea people working together saving together creating jobs for themselves and others investing in their future imagine a woman hurt in a car accident unable to perform her job now unemployed unable to support her family we should ask what other skills does she have how can we train her to have another job how do we rebuild her life Investing in your future building employment means perhaps we can give her a job answering phones sending other people out to work perhaps she can be trained as a teacher teaching her skills, to other people instead of seeing her as a problem we need to look outside the square how do we help her help herself My Idea is ten dollars per week but then I realized Gods idea is a tithe ten percent of your wage Governments take twenty percent or more everybody saving together should be creating employment for the people Governments get into power with the promise, we will build a better economy The Church gains your goodwill saying you need to help people in need yet eighty percent of your tithe is spent on themselves Why can't a percentage of the tithe be used to create employment why can't a percentage of your tax be used to create employment Governments created, telephone companies, railways, dams, postal service yet now they back away from their responsibilities we will build a better economy They take your money with the promise we will help you yet when you retire and have no money of your own they are quick to say you're collecting welfare as if you have no rights all your life you paid tax all your life they ran this country on your wage yet when you need them it's you are on welfare you have no right to complain you have worked and paid for welfare Why has the government not invested part of your contribution ensuring, they have the money, to support you why don't they, have companies, providing a second income Instead, they collect your tax money and make themselves sound create because they tell you, what they have, spent it on we should be asking, as a world, can't we do better To become an asset to society people need training and employment there is no sense, in training people for jobs that don't exist train people for success
