4/4/21 (Chorus) These days Difficult to explain It's not charades Been truly feeling strange Close and far from grass blades Seeking a way out the maze Not sure if my soul can be saved Or if I'll burn in flames (Chorus) (Verse 1) Hearts of gold Hearts darker than a black hole People keeping or selling their soul Staying timid or being bold It was changed up or the same old same ole' Days and nights were hot or they were cold Doing nothing or pushing it past the threshold As good and bad events in life unfold A particular agenda is getting pushed and sold Leading to resistance or full control That is their goal Regardless of what you've been told It made sense or was garble Among products that are safe or considered harmful Didn't get a piece or got it by the armful The whole thing not partial Floors with carpet, tile, wood or marble Outcomes left people startled Or they marveled As the stars in the night sky sparkled Another fire was made with or without charcoal (Chorus) These days Difficult to explain It's not charades Been truly feeling strange Close and far from grass blades Seeking a way out the maze Not sure if my soul can be saved Or if I'll burn in flames (Chorus) (Verse 2) Taking shelter in the shade Of a cave During a heat wave In the home of the brave Am like Batman, but they treat me like Bane No wonder I've nearly gone insane The pain Always remains Everyday is full of grey And continual rains Heart aches, depression in my brain Can't break free from the chains No matter the amount of gain Setbacks always take it all away The price I pay Stuck on the crazy train Time and life continually going down the drain In the end they always say There's only myself to blame Lived life and played many games Changed it up or did the same Failed or overcame Remained anonymous or put out my name Feeling happy or full of shame Stood back or set out to take my claim With poor or accurate aim I became familiar with nearly every strain Of Mary Jane Traveled around or stayed inside a cage Was content or full of rage Nearby pollution or plants like sage In the same place or turned the page A total coward or really brave Didn't try or my all was gave Lives were lost or saved Everything begins to age Eventually reaching the grave (Chorus) These days Difficult to explain It's not charades Been truly feeling strange Close and far from grass blades Seeking a way out the maze Not sure if my soul can be saved Or if I'll burn in flames (Chorus)
