Poem
3/23/21 On a decline or on the rise Food left out, quickly will oxidize Experienced a lot of negative, but am putting out positive vibes When needed, turning into Optimus Prime Even during Ominous times Others so quick to drop a dime It was either honest or a lie Mostly, it's just been my dog and I Careful on your intake of sodium People obsessed with the podium Or opium Close and far from Plutonium Real life, not nickelodeon Across the dirt and linoleum Occasionally stopping for Petroleum Traveling with a pure bred Anatolian In a world full of pandemonium When it counts, got the skills of Napoleon Mixed with a Mongolian Going upside your cranium Nearly empty or fully packed stadiums From here to way beyond the Mediterranean Close and far from Titanium or Uranium When it matters, got these talents from being a barbarian And a Homo Sapien mixed with Alien Already partially resistant or fully addicted They were paying it no mind or they listened Did the bare minimum or pushed it past the limits Either I already did it or I didn't Folks minding their own business Or so quick to nitpick I've been welcomed and treated like a misfit I've been sharp and a dimwit There was a lot of noise or the sound of crickets Having similarities or very different Putting forth no effort, or fully committed Never went as scripted Or predicted If you look at the statistics The chart went down, broke even and it lifted Far too often liquid with alcohol I sipped it Taking it seriously or quickly dismissed it Held with high regard or on the list Another horrible or wonderful Christmas Strong willed or always giving into fixes It was made up or accurately written Toward something specific, they have no interest or are smitten The hand that fed was respected or bitten Pay attention, don't get it twisted Stay on your toes, in a world that can be wicked Often turned out successfully Or unpleasantly Presently Let me be Just want to rest in peace Instead of it always being "let's compete" And yet another thing you expect of me People so quick to put others in jeopardy Obsessed with wealth and weaponry There is not enough loyalty and too much treachery Life has been less than sweet Letting the lessons teach And the message reach Too late for questioning It's already beckoning Getting closer to the final reckoning
