Poem
We are bold we are beautiful we are strong We wear the colours of our skins on the palm of our spirits from generations through generations we regenerate from century through century we blossom from decades through decades we experience from years to years we grow from months to months we glow from weeks to weeks we flourish from day to day we live We are "the Black Rose" planted in the Sunlit of the eventide that blossom to bring light in the dark scenting fragrance of love and hope for tomorrow Our skin is tough Our skin shelters in the hard times of life We are the kind spirit wandering In heart land of our offsprings tabled in the mind's words of history Though some are gone but those are , are humble and those yet to come are still patient We are the "Black Rose" planted in the Sunlit of the eventide And can never be melted by the heat of the sun Cos' the sun is our soil on it we fitted our roots The sun is our inspiration when its heats we glow The Sun is our soil and from its nutrients we grow The sun is our firewood when its burns we blaze The prayers in our heart for those of us still awake prepares the earth lane for those of us on the way our Pride is our unity our unity is our bond our bond is our strength our strength gives us courage for tomorrow our bones are strong our bones are rigid to the tides of life Our mind is pure Our mind is sure Our mind is not broken Our mind is golden Our mind is beautiful fit for the fashions of life though we were at the market Yet we are not lost At the left side of our eye is vision at the right side of our eye is oneness and at the center of our eye is love thank God He sent his love John 3:16 Love for a better than yesterday love form a blue day love for greener days Our seeds are well planted deep down the root of wisdom where no beak can pick them were no weevil can meat them Our seeds are well liquid from the cry of the cloud Well creamed from the mornings due Our seeds are gardened with the tools of caution so the morrows can cultivate them. Black is beautiful black is bold black is natural black is not a colouring black never fades We are Africans Roses planted in the Sunlit of the eventide Below link 2 watch d video on YouTube https://youtu.be/hCteKTr36YI
