When this pandemic is over
No more shutting down for me
I will be once more a rover
Oh! How happy I shall be
No more on line service Sunday
No more mask so I can’t breath
I will hug my friends and one day
At an inn my thirst relieve

When the virus hold is breaking
We’ll drop chains and boldly go
Held no more in fear and quaking
Seeking freedom high and low
Treat another not as ghost man
No more scared and no more sad
I will kiss and hug the postman
Though he’ll likely think I’m mad

In the summer - virus long gone
Masks preserved for devotees
No more putting my long johns on 
North and south all breathing free
No more new decrees by Fauci
[‘Let no crisis go to waste’]
Scrap those rules that make me grouchy
We’ll choose liberty bright faced

When this virus is defeated
Not confined to my own house
With volition not depleted 
More an eagle than a mouse
I will soar and fly the ocean
Cross the world to distant land
Never more restrict my motion
Life then held in my own hand
