Poem

I hear the other side of the busy town 
the echoes of the broken whisper
“I’m the open sky” – staring at me and asking me 
Where is your God behind the sky? When will he appear? 
Can’t he see the broken hopes and dreams?
Is your God deaf? Are they under suspicion? 
Why all these tears and sorrows and fear? 
Why all these Battles and killings and deterioration? 
Why they follow some man-made rules? 
Why they talk like they are nothing but puppets? 
No more begging, no more begging to God 
there was a misconception in their belief; it’s all about suspicion!
The city goes to sleep with the world of fury. 
I am the “Sky” who is still awake along with the stars. 
Laughing at the asleep people of the town and ponder 
Oh, thoughtless people!! Oh! You are the winner!! 
They are always in denial and dare to admit their own collapse, 
They are the ones who think God is a Mirage. 
God isn’t sitting on another side of the skies. 
He is everywhere; open your eyes. 
They are busy following traditional books and beliefs.
Figuring out who is guilty and who is guiltless 
They even forget to look at themselves. 
Their eye of conscience is blind, and the heart is sightless.
To enjoy later life, they overlook this life.
They can’t find God; God isn’t sitting outside! 
If you can ponder and find out why we are here
Heaven and Hell, everything in you……just overcome your fear! 
God isn’t sitting far away, sitting skies on another side. 
Just open your heart’s eye; have a glimpse. 
You will find him within you and everything you can perceive.
