All I do is pay taxes
And when the taxes are raised
I have to keep chasing the clock
So I won't fail to file my returns in time
My record is clean too I haven't been in trouble with the law
That has been my patriotic duty as a citizen

All the government does in return is loot my tax money
Borrow heavily and loot it again
And then I'm made to carry the cross
Now the government is also
Ignoring my voice
And worse, it wants to shut my mouth up!

Dear politician 
I toil under the naked sun and piercing rain-drops
Every single day of each season
And my whole body is beat-
Just to pay for your comfort
And get your kids to the best schools in the world
While mine scramble for desks in those tiny and filthy rooms so called classrooms
My pockets keep running dry and you get everything...
A good salary, a high end car, mortgage, health insurance and even pension and all the fine things in life
What's the need?
Are your families needier than mine?
