Is Joss Whedon ‘I AM?’ (1) Christ Reincarnate?
                  I Think That That’s Doubtful!

More than Trump ‘IS’ (1) (by light years)! Joss’ fans aren’t so dumb found
and Buffy (not Trump) sacrifices for others!
Trump ‘ran’ to enrich ‘self’ (his selfless intention!),
was shocked when he won (and the world shared his panic!),
reduced once famed White House to ‘glorified’ hen coop
for chickens to s**t in who praise ‘Orange’ Cock’s plumage!
True! Buffy kills humans (most times to save others),
would Christ (the man) slay in her place, share her world view? (2)

Some men grok they’re unworthy and pray for some rescue
from man’s or God’s laws, would embrace, when they’ve druthers -
humility’s court and aware the Soul’s image 
casts just a frail shadow! But Trump says his Soul’s poop,
his trickles, like Reagan’s (3), proves love for Hispanic,
rich men (who aren’t taxed) show us God’s intervention,
his scalloped (4) sea breach waves the rights of all brothers.
To Trump, life’s a shell game, world’s corpse a cons’ playground! (5)

In dear Buff’s world are vampires (their prey - us), strange demons
of various flavors, sad Gods (not immortal -
a twist? do they bless? do they curse? not ONE worse than
qu**r humans, convinced they are Gods), teen clique chaos,
gay witches brew Star-Trek like portals, doomed tryst(s): drop-
dead gorgeous vamp’s reign cursed by Soul; a bleached soul-less,
fang-neutered vamp (chip saddled brain), law’s whore mongers! (6)
It’s hard not to love ‘World’ unveiled in this fable!

Who can wait, who’ll applaud, when Trump’s crew gets court summons,
gets tried for their crimes and can’t hide! Should prey chortle?
Let’s see how pawns like it when Trump’s kids hear ‘Foreman
of Jury’ say “Guilty,” feel genuine pathos
inflicted on others (as cons push a floor mop),
leave prison with records, and fall from ‘fake noblesse
oblige’ to dependence on State, truth malingers!
The wedding feast comes, but will Groom save their table? (7)

Poet’s Notes:
(1) God’s name for Himself is “I AM!” Joss Whedon is the creator of two interlaced TV series called ‘Buffy, the Vampire Slayer!’ and ‘Angel.’ Joss and Donald may have interesting egos. Still, both are flawed, and I feel entirely unrepentant in declaring (my faith) that neither one is God. I love the Chinese philosophical insistence that having an ‘interesting life’ suggests one might be cursed.
(2) Christ himself chooses death to save others. Is this not taking a human life? Christ seems opposed to ANY human judgment on others that might lead to any life’s end and shamed those who ask Him to approve the ‘stoning’ of an adulteress. Would Christ, in Buffy’s position, kill someone hellbent on killing others? It seems worth considering to me that He might! Think how God dealt with a wealthy landowner who decided to build a new barn to store an abundant harvest as his just reward instead of using it to help feed the less fortunate.
(3) A fun reference to Reagan’s Trickle-Down Economics blowback on self-righteous donors who ‘pee into the wind’ (and foul themselves doing so!) Indeed, Trump’s separation of immigrants’ children from their parents to discourage desperate people from a lawful attempt to come here says a lot about his lack of empathy, his disrespect for America’s ‘golden door!’ We are a nation of immigrants! It’s hard to imagine that Trump has ever asked himself, “What would Jesus do?” or even “How would I wish to be treated were I in their place?”
(4) A reference to Botticelli’s famous painting “The Birth of Venus,” which shows Venus floating on a scallop shell, arising (her beauty a gift from God) from the sea. Does Trump show such beauty to the world or seek to impose his idea of beauty on humankind? Is this “Fake News?”
(5) A suggestion of Trump’s contribution to the end of the world by Global Warming. He’s off to a good start with his shameless contribution to 500,000 US COVID Deaths alone. Republicans win by ending life on the planet! There’s no one alive to suggest Conservatives aren’t Right, their idea of paradise (where compromise is impossible).
(6) A polite name for a particular kind of a lawyer who practices law only to make money, who doesn’t give a fig leaf about justice.
(7) This Biblical Reference suggests that not all will go to heaven even though Christ died for ALL of our sins. He must ‘know’ those who would receive His Grace. We don’t save ourselves through our words or actions, only faith! The Bible warns us that trying to live separate from a relationship with Christ endangers our Souls. However, having a relationship with Christ is simple. Every selfless act of kindness toward our brothers gifts Christ as well! Such gifts enrich His kingdom on earth, open His heart to us. A ‘love for Christ’ finds its best evidence in a servant’s heart that does not seek to enrich itself and serves ‘God’s Truth, His Will’ by example, how we live our lives. To impose ‘our truth’ on others serves only Satan in my opinion!
