Never once did I complain or had a burden. 
Never once did I lie or my heart harden. 
I did all I could. 
  
Over and again I stood tall, for you I believed. 
Over and again for your call, I always recieved. 
I did all I could. 

Always and forever I thought our friendship was meant to last. 
Always and forever I thought our lives we lived the cast. 
I did all I could. 

Now I see with my eyes full of tears. 
Now you're all my heart's deepest fears. 
It wasn't enough. 

You controlled my pain- by you I was stabbed. 
You sold my hope- life from now can not be grabbed. 
It wasn't enough. 

My broken heart was taken and now is scattered. 
My life and freindship was forsaken and now its forever murdered. 
It wasn't enough. 

The truth was reviled and I stood the fool. 
The fact of our encounter is I was used as a tool. 
I learned my lesson. 

So ashamed by the lack of controlling my own pain. 
So embarrassed that heartach was all I had to gain. 
I learned my lesson. 

And now I'm alone with a reemed and bleeding heart. 
And now I'm left with a end, some hell that keeps me a dart. 
I learned my lesson. 

The bleeding will stop. 
The tears will dry. 
My heart will let go. 
My soul will cease to try. 
I'll never do it again.
