Poem
Together we once journeyed to the unknown To young and naive to understand about real love but we ventured to where wild flowers only dared to grow Traveling along with each other to hold not sure just where that road would go Out there where to wicked soft wind would blow Landing upon the flowers were the bees Singing up were the birds that whistled sweet melodies from high in the trees Hanging on to each others words were us wanting to be as one and to live free Words can never completely tell you what exactly for you I felt But you stole my soul and made my heart simply melt And right here in my heart and soul I still hold you dear Hoping that one day soon I will once again have you near Back then I knew we would somehow make it through I was there by your side all I needed was you We were on a roller coaster ride When it got to be scary, you would cradle me right on your shoulder and shield my eyes so I can hide We were up high, until we had to come down Walking away without not one single sound And for me here and now all I do is look around Even if many years have past from your memory I still drown My mind won't let my moments of you close You are here with me everyday and haunt my dreams like a ghost My heart and mind keep you here and won't let you go and I'm stuck being loves host Just like our love which is shared between us both, a flower has two part personality, the petals and the vine And all I can keep doing is recalling the past where you were mine Through all the trails and tribulations we have par took in during our lives No matter what we have done, whether we have accomplished tasks or how we have had to suffer or strife Back to each other a way has always been found I know to one another we are destined to be forever bound What we have for each other is ever so real Which is why all this emotion is still what we so strongly feel When it comes to you my heart will never be able to fully heal My time here is froze Your life there is what for now you've choose I'm still laying her constantly awake For only your love my heart will continuously forsake I long for you to hold me again my heart is yours to take Let's go back to where the wild flowers dared to grow then you can take me in your arms tight, you know I won't break Between us the love and ties still bind Two part personality the petals and the vine
