So as we claim some other fates decree and rewritten history executes us by delete what call has come to the life within us what have we left incomplete The world turns from love as it tramples over peace no gospel in gentle tongue will save us from this ordained to designate We do not believe have we lost our faith and the promise of human destiny still remains incomplete Is it true have we bartered intelligence for the easy mouthed muck of a printing press lost ourselves in mesmerized by the 24 hours of the cathode ray And to this day the day portrays our insanity a psychosis of decades is all we accept and all that we see Collusion and coercion be the watch words of fool us but still feel the wounds and the nails they have handed us Such advancements in the tune of civilization and by the corporate law of technocratic confusion stakes its claim to the ownership of our life Though we pass through this life with magnanimous promise for all our efforts remaining incomplete Do we know will we ever know the pulse of living while psychopaths prescribe what it is Have we failed so miserably to believe in God but in hypocrisy praised the word should Jesus, Mohamed, Buddha and Krishna ask us then to confront their tears Have we abandoned the prophets abandoned ourselves relinquished all reason to the political pigs and their cash cows Have we forgotten our children in our manic concern for ourselves sold out the future for an immediate dribble of a comforter Such questions only you can ask and only you can answer as the martial law rattles its saber and the next stage in its phase continues to threaten How did this all come to be as the stink of evil did not define the devil we could have so clearly seen Do we believe too much in hell and never seek to create any kind of heaven for ourselves Did we relinquish our responsibility give in too conveniently and let fame and wealth and corruption and greed lead us into apathy Though we pass through this life with such magnanimous promise for all our pretense at effortless still we remain as incomplete Have we forgotten our children in our manic concern for ourselves sold out their future for an immediate dribble of a comforter Does nothing or no-one remind us anymore of the incomprehensible beauty the miracles epiphany in the human race that we are
