Mine own son God, did bless me sunshine that's mind mine own heart's petals bloom joy i did shed while i did see thee in mine arms wast w'rthwhile lullabies sung as thee didst lie in thy crib meaningful mem'ries as i beholdeth into thy eyes et'rnal sunshine is still mine own total joy By: Eve Roper 1/14/2021 Crystal By: Robert M. Roper I sit silent, With nothing on my mind. A voice rings out in the distance. Words so strong, Words so fine. Words echo threw my body, Leaving me numb and hypnotized, What kills me more, Is when I look into your eyes. I have to look away, But I don’t know why. You leave me silent, You leave me weak. At the stool I stay, Dreaming, Lost in your eyes. Please forgive me, But sing one more time. Your voice, Your eyes, Your beauty, You are everything, So real and so fine. Empty Glass By Robert Roper Its eleven now. I been here since three, Looking at my phone, Thinking of she, Thinking of what was, And what could be, But I know better, So this is my decree, Life without you, It is killing me. “Will you have another?” “Maybe just one more.” Like I said the last time, And the time before. I lift up my glass, A tear falls to the floor, As I sit alone, Sad and tore, I will drink till I die, And nevermore. Loved To Death By: Robert Roper One last moment in time, My heart sets to embrace, As I walk in the sand, Gentle mist kisses my face. Red Orange and Gold, Seductively bewitches me, As the sun sets on the sea. Making my heart beat faster and faster, Driving me straight to my knees. As the sea reaches my body, My hands and feet clutch the wet sand, The salt water gets inside me, Drowning my soul in lovers hands. Blanketed by the moon light, Embracing my final breath, Swept away by the sea, This was the night, I loved you to death. My Escape Mist moves across the water Smooth to the touch With the smell of moisture in the air There is no care Thoughts Or even memories. As clear as the water beneath My mind is free I am free. Many days Nights Lost to all Sitting on the bank Waiting till night fall Sitting on a dream I can write a story with the stars Stories of love and lost Or maybe just lost Lost and way too far. Something about this river Just makes the past once seen Become the unseen Prospective of life Love And that That I dream off Warms my heart Feeds my soul Witch on day Will make me whole. Reflection off the water Stars shine Again and again One don’t think about life’s end Because it seems life Has just begin. By, Robert M. Roper No Sight To See By: Robert Roper I give up my eyes, I will never have to see, I am drawn to you, I don’t know how, But you call out to me. Almost like a dream, But yet to be seen. Let me lay you down, Then you will see, What can’t be seen, But only felt, Something us both, Haven’t felt, In a long time. Let me touch you, I promise it will be, Ever so gentle, For you, But for me, When I caress you, It’s like I can see. Please, Let my lips do, What my fingers do, Worship you, Over and over again, I want you weak, Let me love you, Till I can’t no more, When you hit your peak, Please just lie there, Feel our hearts beat. Let me hold you, I’ll let you sleep, I don’t need to see, When it is you I know, I will always keep. Rose sweet rose By: Robert Roper Rose sweet rose, Why do you hate me so? You left me that day in October, Why? I have to know. Rose sweet rose, The day I first saw you, On the mountain in May. I swear that day, The sun only rose, Because of you, My sweet rose, True beauty, Was gloriously displayed. Rose sweet rose, I will admit, I was scared to look, I was scared to touch. Your pedals looks so smooth, I just had to touch. Even to this day, I can remember your scent, Whispering I love you, Underneath my breath. Rose sweet rose, I love you so, Confused and lost, I didn’t want to hurt you, I didn’t want to let you go. Rose sweet Rose, You left me that day, Because of my scorns. My blood fell, Cut from your thorns Your pedals bloom, No more. Rose sweet rose, I miss you so. Rose sweet rose, These are my woes. I love you.
