we are here
in this mind body
our senses externalised
immersed in duality
it then no wonder
that limitation
surrounds us
confining
our soul

our soul
we know not
since the truth is veiled
so we take
ourself
to be
ego

to find joy
we form attachments
with other such entities
to enliven mind body
creating desire
we call love
which time
consumes
in death 

fleeting form
encased by our soul
is the simple truth not known
to the deluded ego identity
and so the ego suffers
which affects us not
unless we believe
that we are ego
limited in time
and space 

upon death
of forms to which bound
our deluded self then grieves
creating a thought spiral
ego intent to enmesh
attention outwards 
so that it may live
fed by thought
having origin
in our soul
which is
true self

oh hermit
dwell not in shadows 
of fleeting form illusions
rather simply flow
like the breeze
with ease
thus free
