Poem
Like a caress, raindrops whisper from the sky Touching the naked lips with a soothing peace Lulling life awake, arousing a dance of gentleness Breathing love into the pores of silent grace Miracles of faith penetrate the walls built up By sorrow and worry, pain that feels like a color Raging scarlet or azure where there only needs To be hues of lilac softness or blushing cherry Like a sigh, driven by sunshine rays of golden amber Poignant as the light that drives wishes to believe In inspiration that fills up minds with insight, joy Feelings that sooth and sweeten the heart’s warmth Wildly swaying through the days with promises Alert and brilliant, vividly portrayed by the belief That arises from knowing truth and passion, desire For more than hope or yearning, but authentic dreams Like a calm, curious hope that comes just before its gone And there is only the thought of what once lived there Aware of the gift of knowing – light that opens doors With rays of promises so sure and full, like a prayer Faithful and thankful, gratitude flowing through veins Moving across the heart with feelings pure and open Creating a balance in the spirit for tender breaths Of sensitivity, fulfillment, reality from knowing love Like a dream, this love is alive – dancing and thriving Growing wise, fat with the weight of compassion Feelings so enchanting, enlivening, enlightening They thrill the spirit, send waves of grace across hands That are crossed in prayer for the miracle that is Love pouring over the soul with it’s beauty and truth Sensing the longing for purity that grows praiseworthy Laudable as the smile lifted to meet the sunshine’s beam Like you, my friend, this feeling goes on… never ends A feeling so sure that it seems to pray from it’s veins For the opportunity to share itself, this love that lives In the heart who listens to the soft expression of hope The impression found in the one who hears God breath In the moment, the present, the past, the here and now Everywhere, in everything, wherever there is the chance To feel the intimacy that can be felt on the air, in His breath
