Poem
It's here the widow says After her long wait Her heart is filled with joy Yet she cannot help buy cry She wishes he's beside her She wishes her husband was alive To see the sun shine again And watch the moon turn new It's here the orphan says After the struggles encountered His heart is filled with peace Yet a part of him is broken to pieces He prayed to see this new day but hoped he could visit the old He wishes he could see his father He has missed his mother's embrace It's here the poor man says After the long days of little He praises God for seeing this day Yet he blames God for his misfortune He wasn't brave enough to curse God and die For his only treasure is his precious life Its a new calendar with old debts to pay He wishes he could be rich someday It's here the broken hearted lover says After much days of pains After much time spent Attending to wounds unhealed It's a new year with old feelings Like a new blessings with an old curse He wishes she was here with him To mend the heart she broke Like new wine in an old jar Like new thoughts in an old mind Pleasing present with hurting past Like new tears from an old watery eyes It's a new year with old debts to pay It's a new year with old taunting scars It's a new year without a special friend It's a new year without our loved ones
