Poem
Jack and his friends, impressed by personalities wanted to get there and enjoy name and fame They stood gaping at their accolades and victories And made gross assumptions about what it took to succeed They tried to attempt the goal To their dismay, they hit failure and disappointment They grasped it's not as easy as it seemed The friends decided to work on their failure But Jack chose the other road and tried for online income He saw big-name internet "gurus." Who make their income from blogging and vlogging He thought, Aww… it's easy, Through blogging and vlogging, Aimed to become a quick guru of this tech-era Jack is rudely awakened That there is no trickle of traffic In the ocean of techno-world. He failed to see the hard work of those internet "gurus" behind the scenes He argued with God why was he not blessed with special powers like many He felt diffident about his abilities On the other side, Jack was surprised to behold His friends are now successful, and he was curious to know-how Jack approached them who are new achievers now sought for a tip or trick to climb the hill "There is no short cut! My dear friend", they said They worked countless hours to bridge their skill gap Now, they honed their skills and became the established folks in the field Jack was left alone once again People said, "He is the Jack of all trades but master of none." Soon, Jack realized his mistake of overlooking skill development He worked hard, improved, and got better He was now more aware of his nuances and oddities He now knew where to nail He gathered his total experience of all trades and invested in one "The Management Skill" He thrived in his goal and pursued his passion Many aspirants wanted to become another "Jack." They were inspired by his accolades and victories He stood calm and advised the beginners that, The Jack whom you see now was once an aimless beginner If you want to start on a new goal point, build your skills first No one is born with skills. They learn and earn them Conscious skill building is the norm Be critical and analytical Be open to collaboration and a knowledge-rich society Have a quest for application and practical expertise Be creative and ready to unlearn and relearn Be innovative and futuristic Have a hunger for wisdom and thirst for humanity Never be another Jack of all trades and master of none Find your niche, hone your skill to achieve your goal And keep the flywheel to excellence flying. Yes, Skill Development is the Right Choice!
