OH! Unto us a child is born! OH! Unto us a Son is given! Unto the people of the earth, The virgin Mary gave birth, To her newborn Son! In a Bethlehem manger! The Christ child was born! Jesus Christ was born! A-Men! Eight days after Jesus was born, He was christened and circumcised. Two elderly people got to hold him. Simeon and Anna knew they could depart in peace after beholding the Savior of the World! About two years after the Christ Child was born, the Christmas Star lead the wise men from the East. We record only three of them because of their three gifts: gold, franchise, and myrrh! They most likely came from Persia and Babylon. Because of the writings and examples the Jewish prophet Daniel left behind when his Jewish people were in captivity. First thing they did was to go to Jerusalem where King Herod the Great was King. They stated their purpose: they were following a unusual star indicating the born of a new born king and they came to worship Him! Harold the Great lied and told the wise men that he also wanted to worship Him! After they had departed, King Herod consulted his own prophetic scribes. "In Bethlehem Judah..." They told King Herod. Herod was not Jewish because he was a descent of Esau and not Jacob! They were twins, and Esau was the oldest twin. Jacob (aka Israel) was the younger one. King Herod was another gentile (non Jews) The wise men presented their precious gifts to the Christ Child and worshiped him. The wise men were astrologers/ and magicians! They were gentile pagans and God used them! They were warned in a dream about the real intentions of King Herd! He did not want to worship Jesus, he wanted to murder him Because he erroneously believed Jesus would be heir to his throne! Thus the Magi returned to their own countries by a different route. When Herod discovered he was betrayed by the Magi, he sent his troops into Bethlehem. Killing all male children two years old and younger! Joseph had a dream from the Holy Spirit to leave Bethlehem to take the young child and his mother safely into Egypt because King Herod desired to kill him! Shortly afterwards after the slaughter of the innocents, King Herod died of a lengthy painful and terrible disease! The Holy Spirit informed Joseph that the ones who were seeking the young child were dead and to return to Judah. Finally, they settled in Nazareth. Thus fulfilling the prophecy out of Nazareth I have called forth my son. Roxanne Lea Dubarry 12/22/20 Miranda
