Poem
"Each full moon at stroke of twelve an offering will be made,of a maiden who is pure of sin, to become my Hades slave. Tempt this child with gold and silver, they always take the bait. Entice her to your basement where I shall lay in wait." Lucy's vain demeanor was her Achilles heel, that I'm sure explains to all why Lucy took the deal. "I agree." she said with eyes alight, "Now make me look much younger. A few bags of gold and silver coins should satisfy my hunger." Weeks passed by until it came, the night of the full moon. Lucy, desperate to retain her spoils, enticed a virgin to her room. "Come with me I have a gift. It will be a worth it, you will see. In the basement lies a trinket box. Quickly, follow me!" The Innocent was trusting. Lucy was so kind. She followed her to the basement door, intrigued by what they'd find. "Oh dear!" Lucy cried as the door was opened, "What a fool am I! The key to open up the box is up there, on that hook up high." "Should I reach for you?" the girl replied, "I'm very good at climbing. "Why thank you dear, your very kind, a ladder's right behind you." The young girl turned and walked towards a ladder placed against the wall. Whilst her back was turned, Lucy ran, and locked the basement door. The girl quickly spun to turn around. Why had Lucy ran? In the shadows, stepping forward, came the outline of a man. The girl let out a frightening scream and banged on the basement door, "Let me out! I'm not alone, there's a man in here I'm sure." "Be calm my child." the devil said, as he came full into view, with his face disfigured by years of hate, he had come to claim his dues. He waved his hand before her face and cast a trancing spell, his hand beckoning her soul out to escort this child to hell.
