I love how his lashes caress my cheek
With intimate revelations, gentle whispers
Fading into me with genuine intimacy
Beckoning to my spirit with serene feeling
Sincerity that allows me to share all my 
Thoughts, hopes, needs and wants
With him, the one I call my best friend

I love how his lips whisper to my heart
Poetic visions that color my world with
Enlightenment and joy, pure inspiration
Discovered in knowing this amazing love
Which exceeds the ideas I might have 
Preconceived of when I first met him
And felt a inkling of this enchantment

I love how his heart beats with a tempo
Breathing out a melody of hope and faith
Sincere appreciation for amazing grace
That captures emotions with intimacy, tender
Expressions of understanding, wisdom
That abounds within the spirit, singing
Crimson truths and lyrics to love tunes

I love how his spirit echoes with the flaming
Blaze of passion and zeal that blows in the
Winds of mysterious ideas, dreams of hopeful
Wisdoms and warmest impressions that fill
Lives with emotions that stand still and melt
Away any wintry feelings that might have
Kept the heart from trusting with all it’s will

I love how his mind and emotions are in sync
Pounding away at the happiest completion
Aware that we all live in a world of disillusionment
But filling up the soul with breathtaking warmth
Sensations of expectations that breed joy
Paint the entire universe in a rainbow of insight
Into the one who knows how to pray for love

I love him… his ideas, thoughts and dreams
His touch, kiss and mystery
His penetrating presence with me
He is the maker of dreams and the fulfillment
That leaves me feeling understood, complete
It is him… within, his heart – that I love totally
With everything I feel, all I am, all I’ll ever be!

It is him… who completes me
Frees me – and sees me
As best friend – And I see him
As the one I can be myself with
Together, we can share life
In total assurance that we are
