Poem
The sun is shining in my face and morning is filling me with grace The trees are hanging low and you just have a few more hours to go You are walking around and gallivanting in the town with a deceptive message dressed in blood stained gown, you scream and shout from the stage pouring out lies that embarrass the human race, it keeps the crowd alive but many individuals will eventually breakdown and cry It is amusing but confusing, it appealing but it has many people reeling Your egotistic fire is burning and many people are dying Your desires are aiming for the sky but it will make your spirit die. Everyone is waiting for a slice of the cake but it is just a little too late There is no more appetite to consume brazen illusions that have already fallen from throne but you keep running around the town. It is repetitive and the people have finally got it, but some find it very hard to accept it. The birds are gathering around in the sky talking about the lie they are mocking you and they too are screaming at you. The sun is baking the fruit cake that is laced with resin, prunes and dates, the rum is soaked in, and wine is brewing on top The stake is burning on the grill and some people are paying for their sins, they have gathered around the shaky table sipping from the deceptive cup laughing and shouting without guts I watched them dancing furiously around like a broken and lamed duck.“Your time is up”, the people shout, “your time is up and we want you out” a woman shout from the crowd, your time is up we have already voted you out”. The lies are baked into the pecan pie,and sorrows flying around in the sky. I watched the other side working hard to organized while you sit around whining in the dark. Get yourself together and say an apologetic prayer to ease your sorrows. Some people are hurting but the cock is still crowing. There is no room to tolerate you, and more than seventy million people have rejected you Your children’s souls are crying out for you and the ocean is waiting for him. I have turned it upside down and examined it inside out and I still cannot find any evidence of fraud that is causing such a brawl You have had the chance to make it right but your illusion keeps falling from the sky. You must take some time to comfort the people and tell them that you are really sorry. You must stop going around and performing like a clown and step down from the throne. When you stand up and accept your failures you will get out of that terrible danger. This is the last slice of the cake so take a bite and move out before it is too late. The mad man is waiting for you at your gate and he is armed with forty-five bottles of rum and five long guns while destiny is on the run. Hurry and leave that place before it is too late. This is the last slice of the cake.
