And I lay in bed thinking I am the evidence
of a good boys death
Wondering why exactly he did it
Why the priest didn't see his last breath

And all the churches blame the sinners
because they have no one else to take the blame
They get in for the attention
Thinking it's all just a game

When they always told the boy
someday he'd be something
Then they found the note
A note that explained nothing:

I am further from the sun
Traveled too far, missed the only one
Cut the pages after this time
Silence spoke to the lonely gun
Sudden light, cold silver steel
Chapter ends, you can't feel
Soaked in pain, the red and blind
Was there only one?

The infection leaking through
We all know what's really going on
Behind their white washed smile
They think we created the gun

And all the parents blame the music
cause they can't face that it's them
They try to hide behind their children
They don't know, we see right through them

And they always said
you'll never be something
Then they found the note
that to them explained nothing:

On looking upon this picture
Taking away from its beauty
It was something I knew existed
only in dreaming
A harsh grave, and early end
Your life without me soon will start
For what do I live for, if you can't see me?
Not only am I invisible to you
I am disappearing to the rest of the world
and nobody even knows
A daily routine of pills
Searching for some hint of where you are
The game is up, it's clear to me
It's when forever just doesn't seem long enough

And I would be lonely
If this was in my head
And I would be scared
If I knew I caused the end
