Poem
The Silence In Me I have been on this road several times, and I have been contemplating the movement of the clouds, the direction of the trees, and the depth of the sea. The heart of the town is floating around, and the city is clothed in a beautiful robe draped around a golden throne with the crown holding stable and sitting gentle at the dinner table. I have said to myself that the fire in me will keep the energy flowing around me and my spirit will keep soaring, and my ambitions will keep growing. I have paid numerous sacrifices and I have not lived my life but I have made up my mind to stay alive, and live out my dreams, dreams that has been pushed aside dreams that have dried up with time but the rain has just come on time to wet the dry places. Mouths are moving up and down with imaginary tales of the olden days Tales that have surpassed our modern times, tales without balance and plans, and the heavy weights are getting ready to parachute through the gate. Put your saddle blanket, and stirrups in place, saddle the horse and get ready to go through the gate. Prepare the gate man and the door man get the anchor man with the iron hand to close the bully gate The wind is blowing in my favor, and my transition team is highly esteemed, the diplomats are walking around the town, with awe and their hands resting on their Jaws, they have finally come to themselves to accept that the heavens came to an end and a new period has began. The wind is blowing softly, and the traffic is moving slowly the people are moving around with a breathless passion ,and their mind is running an all time marathon, you can see the distress in their faces and colors of all races and the desire to live a peaceful life for a much paid sacrifice hope is radiating in their eyes, and the feeling of joy is bottled up inside. They are taking long strides across the street and fill the empty places Everyone gets a job and everyone had something to eat. Many people are shopping around with bags in their hand And reality is playing a melodious song, the music is chiming in And my heart is comforted with an old hymn The children are looking glad and I can feel my energy No one can match nature’s energy and my fine enduring qualities. The sun is still hot on my back but just as the heat was penetrating me The heavens answers with a grin, it pours down suddenly and saturates the heat that was just enough to drive away the sleep. I still cannot accept this circumstance that I find myself in I have to to prevent my ego from committing a great sin, the silence in my mind is buried up in the divine and every day the curtain keep moving and the show keep going. I enjoy what I am doing but I must change my environment, and get a proper shower and have a nice dinner and build back my nutrition. I sit at the table looking across the avenues, and when I look all around me and I can see people waving at me, they are shouting out my name and dancing to a popular rhythm in the rain .They follow me around the town chanting a musical sound, they throw balloons up in the air and they starts to celebrate with loud music diluted with rum and tonic. This is what you get when you get when you go to the rural towns and Hang around the town, curious people descends in the squares wearing a colorless hat and waving flags, young and old jumping up and down with a bold spirit to start a new life. The diplomats has just arrived in the town handing out chocolates and vanilla ice-cream, the people are waving flags in the street to welcome their new friends and in the midst of all of this the silence is growing and writhing inside me and the shout is dying to come out, but self-control just clamps it down. Everything is welled up inside me, but the story has been told. I have had these days and moments before and they disappeared with the cloud and my courage reappears. I have no pain and I have no shame, all I want is to go away from here but I cannot do it alone. I need ticket money and a brand new gown and new shoes, so come and see me in a hurry before you are sorry. My dream is not your dream; my plans are not your plans and this is not the place I want to be, please take me away from here, I want to set my spirit free. The silence is trickling down my feet, and I feel like a hostage in this town everyone is looking at me with a frown it is the silence in me that is keeping me happy. Come and get me because nobody wants to help me. The silence in me is growing.
