Poem
Our wishes may add hope to a life of want, and comfort to a midnight dream, but independence of thought and a 'can do spirit' will ignite the tools needed for success. Never at any time should there be a belief that things will always be as they are presently. Divine Providence demanded that even society's beloved sacred cows would someday fall. The status quo and long-held traditions cannot hold back the high tides of changing times. Opportunity knocks on sometime unsuspecting doors that have no choice except to respond. Our fortunes are often fantasies, and our fame is sometime fickle, but hard work breeds change. We should catch a falling star, write our name of it and determine and direct the course of its fall. Happy and blessed is one who not only wishes and hopes for change, but becomes 'the changed'. Activists are known for deep desires for change-making, whether such changes be good or bad. Nothing changes on its own accord, but processes from within and without will force changes. Great winds of change are blowing and flowing in all directions, daring us to give them guidance. Every change that occurs is unstable, and like sea waves and ocean tides, it keeps occurring. 111520PS
