Poem
Do I deserve to go to Heaven, where is heaven, what is Heaven. I must be judged first and cannot assume I will be Going to heaven. My philosophy is does God trust me, I hope so, I am merely human not a celestial being so must have Done wrong during the course of my life, somewhere sometime Even as a child maybe. Speaking of trust, one has to prove themselves to me As I have to prove myself to God. I am as a shrimp in the vast oceans of this planet, Or as a grain of sand, on the beaches across our globe. I am who I am thanks to my parents and my upbringing, And the values and norms they instilled in me, my own Ideologies and my perspectives and philosophies, All of which make me who I am. It is too late for me to have career plans in my life, But I am very content with who I am, and always Try to make sure I remain so, following what I have Seen, been and studied. God is my best friend, I would never anger him! He has opened my eyes to the good and evil of this World and I am grateful for the Gift of logic he bestowed on me. I never blame God for Anything, not the Pandemic, 9/11 , the extermination of millions Of Jews under Hitler’s regime, or climate change, deforestation, The vast populations of the hungry and dying who are Deprived of their basic needs, and not even thought of! All is the fault of man’s doing, and, I never blamed God For the death of my baby, Alan George. People ask me, Aren’t you angry, no I answer, my philosophy was and is, That God wanted an Angel, so he chose my baby to sit By His side. He granted me a baby boy eighteen months later. I perceive myself as a true believer, but not happy with Many priests including a recent Cardinal who was arrested For child abuse, and sentenced and imprisoned. A man of religious repute whose peers and superiors knew Well of his despicable evil ways, he brought shame to the devout Men and women of the cloth. I feel sad that nothing seems sacred any more, how could I change this, I can’t alone, However together we can. My philosophy includes giving of kindness, love and substantial Assistance to the destitute, and feel that the Americans have chosen Best in The Elections. I certainly perceive that the chosen President Elect Together with the Vice President Elect, will change world Politics, which in the last 4 years, have been destroyed. I feel so privileged that I am living on planet Earth, We are blessed to have been given such beauty in all Aspects of nature, yet greed has destroyed us What has happened to our basic Ten Commandments That all religions should practice, I believe that I should Help wherever I can to nurture our world, and do Whatever is within my human limitations to prevent Man destroying our habitat, please God direct and enlighten Me! The above is a brief summary of my Perceptions’ and Philosophies That I hold dear to my heart, soul and being.
