I am random, I am impulsive
I speak truth you dont let slip
the first thought and look like a dick
It causes embarrassment yet I live

& this is not a one off event
everyday in some way present
i will speak words unpleasant
causing distain seen irrelevant

the truth most brutally true
uncouth not needed and rude
honesty blurted as though abuse
always make me look unclued

the brain works fast and filter can't cope
uncalled for phrases far from a joke
sayings causing the mood to slope
and I look nasty, not a nice bloke

but this is not through intention
neither is it a mental defection
I suffer most from this imperfection
thoughts break free without detection

imagine a world where you speak and regret
disagreeing with yourself and what you said
imagine your life with this an aspect
embarrassing stupidity others don't forget

Hyperactive confusion at so many ideas
multiplying at random so many appear
reaching ten thoughts all of which clear
2 seconds after stupid s**t people hear
unaware thoughts spawn in each brain hemisphere

with their dominant side the only to function
whilst your cross dominance brings both in to action
an attention deficit caused by distraction
when your brains hemispheres fail interaction

ADHD is a hyperactive disorder
things happen so quick there lacks order
the box others think in is a box without borders
words slip through of the thoughts much shorter

now imagine this same impulse sees at speed
body language, expressions others don't see
because more than stupid words happen quickly
and your eyes pick up signals of lies and honesty

so you say things you do not mean
yet see reactions in split second scenes
you're misjudged because words you let leave
yet you can judge others on things unseen 

acting as though your brain is loose
yet focused aware seeing hidden truths
seeing intentions through use and abuse
seeing the mind of those out to use

cus ADHD is Hyperactive and fast
words slip out yet I see through masks
hyperfocus thinking whilst looking a spas
this is the reality my ADHD has

it teaches you to do the good thing
it did with me but others are different
they'll manipulate for selfish greed
yet I'll stop them and I'll prevent

they take advantage just because
believe easy targets through outbursts
types like me who speak first
brain tuned in, mouth leaks words

don't assume the output equals intelligence
thoughts inside don't cease of elements
what comes out isn't finished or relevant
impulsive eyes will act on evidence
