Poem
From the beginning it was dark. Fighting invisible demons in the shrouding veil, near to death, and tired from the wages of battle. Then a light peirced the night... An angel came into sight, and my demons retreated. I fell in exhaustion! collapsing no longer able... As my eyes closed, I feared that darkness had concord. My eyes opened again! O'er me she leaned, with blue eyes of caring and innoscense. Calming my rages, with sweetness! My strengths returned under her cares, My fears cast out. So with a new vivarance, I stood. Stopping on bended knee, I vowed myself, hers. Wanting to give unto her all that she ever could offer me. I stood to feel her hand in mine. Promising that I would thence not leave from her. In an attempt to create a new life, from what we each knew, I ignored the lack of freedom in the war I still needed to endure. Her arms soothed me in the coming nights... as I lay with her, she offered me all she had. chasing away the enemies that lie await at the threshold of her radiance. Eagerly I entered into her embrace, giving her anything she desired. Anything to keep her here with me. Her Desires, My desire to give her anything, proved my fault. Wish against reality, I let her go thinking that she had given me the strengths I needed to Fight alone once more. Ignoring the raw need of having her in my life. My reason to endure. To succeed. I should have admitted that I could not conquore the the ties that bound me, less her presence. Knowing that we could reclaim our foothold on life, Together. One last embrace, that wasn't enough! I released her into the into the nestalgia niether of us wanted to return to. So now! I am left to walk into the darkness from her protecting light. I can not see them, but my adversaries linger, and swarm waiting for the residual of her essence to faid. Striking at me, from one time to another. I lash out in return, for her memory! Piercing the heart of someone. Casting a Flame with the strike that burns a bridge to what I knew. There in the glow of this flame! I see for the first time, I see That which I have to battle... in the hollow flames.... I see the night as if I am apart of it. As well as the Devil smiling victoriously. With waves of demons to do his bidding. To tear me asunder, from the inside out. One last look to see her there.... to far away, and oceans apart. She, I needed. Then turn, into the war or Darkness.
