You are such a beautiful headache;
 so hard to get rid of.
My body wishes you would leave,
 but there's no cure to ward you off

Yet,your face is like a drug;
 one look, & my troubles are put to ice.
Though I know it's not the cure
 for the moment, it'll have to suffice.

Were you sent by God,
to keep me happy,like He cared?
Or dropped by the Devil
 to make me gnash teeth,when you're not there.

'cos I know that it's by good nature
 you set free the one you most treasure,
 knowing, she'll come back some day
 returning that love in the same measure.

Or would I've to chain myself to you;
 your every step,with me as a yoke.
To make sure you're always by my side
 for reasons unknown, fated to choke.

Would I get salvation for my deeds,
 and reach a place much higher?
Or scream evermore in Hell's kitchen
 a soul left to roast in the Eternal Fire?

'cos one thing I know, and know for sure
 that without you near, I can tell..
If I have to rejoice in heaven,
on earth, I'll have to go through hell.

I ain't sure, about the reaction I'll get
 on expressing to you, what's in my heart.
If this proposal, you ever would accept,
 & unite two, destined not to walk apart.

How I'd continue to wander
 if you refused me, & turned about face.
For, if you can't be in my world,
 this world would be a wretched place.

Why bother beating around the bush,
 wreck myself, & cause undue grief?
To those near, blind to the struggle within,
 unaware that I'll never find relief.

Find me a soothsayer, skilled
 who'll tell me things untold.
And find for me a path, to her heart
 for which, I'd repay him in gold.

For even if peace settled on earth,
 battles would rage from dusk to dawn.
'cos my mind you ripped, in two,
 and these battles will go on, and on..and on.

Thoughts about you, spread through me, cancerous,
 infectious, I'm brought closer to my demise.
I realize there's no cure for my headache,
 no end to these muffled cries..

Soon, the lights will get dimmer,sounds more faint..
Without you,my heart,oh how it would ache!
For my life will soon reach the end of its term.
But, so too, will my headache...
