Feelings of a Person with Color

Does it really matter what colour is my skin?
Or it matters how I am or my Karma?
Which one do you prefer more?
People say in public, they judge by deed,
But when I walk side by side, I do feel, 
As if I’m just from the nasty garbage bin!

Living in the 21st century, with so many blessings 
from science and all those modern life glories,
Still, you judge people by their colour and their race?
And you say, you are modern? How will you define that?
Try to listen to the heart of mine, try to match it with that of thine.
You will hear the same heartbeat, the same rhythm of inner vibe.

Don’t you see the velvety soft smoothness on my skin,
You stay on the shore whole summer to get some tan like mine
The natural curl on my hair that you artificially do for a party!
Do I pity you or react when I see how desperately you copying me?
When I smile, I try to hide the glow since it shines
But you use a lot of products to achieve like that of mine.

You know what, I still feel pain when I cut my finger, 
I cry the same way as you do when it burns on fire,
I still feel sad when I lose kin or cry when someone dies.
I have the same emotion as you do, even if I’m a person with hue,
We are just different, not similar or the twins by nature and feature, 
Though, we both experienced the same Evolutionary journey together!

But, at the end of the day, aren’t we still humans?
I witnessed you cherishing the colours of Autumn,
You know what, I also appreciate like you all the fall colours,
I love people and all of their rights like all flying free birds, 
If you could love nature with so many fall colours, 
What’s wrong with accepting us, the living people with colours?
